DONGXIThe things around us.
In Mandarin, dongxi is the everyday word for “things”. Read separately, the two characters mean “east” and “west”. We like a name that leaves room for both a wider world and the object sitting right beside you.
For us, a little thing becomes worth keeping when it feels personal: a colour you return to, a familiar shape, or a reminder of someone you care about.
